There is disclosed a method of increasing germline integration of a desired DNA construct in fish, which method comprises introducing said construct into an egg of said fish in addition to a further DNA construct which has a greater level of persistence in said egg when compared to said desired DNA construct. A transgenic fish produced according to this method and any progeny thereof comprising the desired DNA construct are also provided.
