The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a press felt and to a press felt and a base fabric. The base fabric comprises at least a first planar compo-nent (4), which includes a first transverse (CMD) joining edge area (11) and a second transverse joining edge area (12). The joining edge areas (11, 12) are arranged to overlap each other and attached to each other undetachably.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un feutre de presse, un feutre de presse ainsi qu'un support textile. Le support textile comprend au moins un premier composant planaire (4) qui contient une première zone de rebord (11) à jonction transversale (CMD) et une seconde zone de rebord (12) à jonction transversale. Les zones de rebord à jonction (11, 12) sont disposées de manière à se chevaucher et sont fixées l'une à l'autre de manière fixe.
