A method for providing a contact lens for a patient. According to this method, an optical preform (20) is selected, and a resting position of the optical preform on the patient's eye is determined. An optical feature (11) is also located on the patient's eye. Then, a reference position is located on the surface of the optical preform coincident with the optical feature on the patient's eye, when the optical preform is in the resting position. Finally, the optical modification is provided on the optical preform at a location based on the reference position on the optical preform, either by machining the preform itself or by machining a mold that is subsequently used to form the lens.
Procédé de réalisation d'une lentille de contact destinée à un patient. Selon ce procédé, on sélectionne une préforme optique (20) et on détermine sa position de repos dans l'oeil du patient. Un élément optique (11) est également localisé dans l'oeil du patient; puis une positon de référence est déterminée à la surface de la préforme optique, position coïncidant avec l'élément optique situé dans l'oeil du patient, lorsque la préforme optique est en position de repos. Enfin, la modification optique est effectuée sur la préforme optique à un endroit déterminé par la position de référence sur la préforme optique, par usinage soit de la préforme elle-même, soit d'un moule utilisé pour fabriquer la lentille.
