The present invention relates to a method of modulating differentiation, adhesion and/or survival of the neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM) presenting cells by providing compounds capable of modulating the interaction between the Ig1, Ig2 and/or Ig3 modules of NCAM. The invention provides candidate compounds capable of modulating the interaction between the Ig1, Ig2 and/or Ig3 modules of NCAM by using methods for screening and testing described in the application. The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising compounds capable of modulating the interaction between the Ig1, Ig2 and/or Ig3 modules of NCAM and to use of the pharmaceutical compositions and compounds for the modulation of differentiation, adhesion and/or survival of NCAM presenting cells.
La présente invention concerne des procédés de modulation de différenciation, d'adhésion et/ou de survie de cellules présentant des molécule d'adhésion de cellules neurale (NCAM) via des composés capables de moduler l'interaction entre les modules Ig1, Ig2 et/ou Ig3 des molécules NCAM. Cette invention concerne des composés candidat capable de moduler l'interaction entre les modules Ig1, Ig2 et/ou Ig3 de molécules NCAM par des techniques de recherche et de tests décrites dans cette application. Cette invention concerne aussi des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant des composés capables de moduler l'interaction entre les modules Ig1, Ig2 et/ou Ig3 de molécules NCAM et l'utilisation de compositions pharmaceutiques et de ces composés pour moduler la différenciation, l'adhésion et/ou la survie des cellules présentant des molécules NCAM.
