A monochromatic continuous light emitted from a laser source is introduced into an optical resonator, and resonated and amplified in between reflecting mirrors provided in the optical resonator. Then, a given high frequency electric signal is applied to an optoacoustic element from an optoacoustic element controller, and the thus obtained amplified monochromatic continuous light is pulsed through the optoacoustic element. The thus obtained pulsed light is diffracted in an oblique direction and taken out of the optical resonator to the outside.
