A method of preparing a carton with a prefolded interior paper lining includes feeding carton blanks (22) having a surface (40), the surface having leading and trailing edges (32, 34) and right and left side edges, (36, 38), feeding a paper web (64), folding the paper to have a base portion (86) having an edge (114) and at least a first flap (88) joining the base portion (86) at a first crease (87), cutting a section (110) off the paper web (64), and inserting the paper section (110) with the carton blank surface (40), such that the edge (114) and crease (87) of the base portion (86) of the paper are spaced at a predetermined distance inward from each respective carton blank side edge.
Le procédé de fabrication d'un carton à doublage intérieur en papier pré-plié utilise des découpes de carton (22) dont la surface (40) comporte des bords, antérieur et postérieur (32, 34), ainsi que des bords latéraux, droit et gauche (36, 38), et une bande continue de papier (64). On plie ce papier de manière à obtenir une partie formant une base (86) portant un bord (114) et au moins un premier volet (88) rattachant la partie formant une base (86) à un premier pli (87) et on coupe un segment (110) de la bande continue de papier (64) que l'on rapporte sur la surface de la découpe (40) de manière à ce que le bord (114) et le pli (87) de la partie formant la base (86) soient séparés par un espace prédéterminé vers l'intérieur de chaque bord latéral de la découpe.
