The present invention is related to a method of producing a nanoporous body containing nanodiamonds and having a desired shape, comprising the steps of: forming an intermediate body having the desired shape of nanodiamond particles having a maximum size of 10 nm, exposing said body to a gaseous hydrocarbon or a mixture of hydrocarbons at a temperature exceeding the decomposition temperature for the hydrocarbon or the hydrocarbons. In accordance with the invention the intermediate body is formed with a porosity of 50-80 vol.%, and during the heat-treatment of the intermediate body with hydrocarbon or hydrocarbons the mass of said body is increased by 50 % at the most. The present invention also relates to a nonoporous body produced by said method and to uses of such a body.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'un bloc nanoporeux contenant des nanodiamants et ayant la forme désirée. Ce procédé comprend les opérations suivantes: formation d'un bloc intermédiaire ayant la forme désirée et dont les particules de nanodiamants ont une grosseur maximale de 10 nm; exposition de ce bloc à un hydrocarbure gazeux ou à un mélange d'hydrocarbures, à une température supérieure à la température de décomposition du ou des hydrocarbures. Selon l'invention, le bloc intermédiaire est formé avec une porosité de 50 à 80 % en volume et, pendant le traitement thermique du bloc intermédiaire avec un ou plusieurs hydrocarbures, la masse de ce bloc croît de 50 % au maximum. La présente invention concerne aussi un bloc nanoporeux produit grâce au procédé en question et les utilisations d'un bloc de ce genre.
