With the present method, a process which can be employed industrially can be used for the first time for the direct production of aminocyanoacetamide. The method is based on the reaction of cyanoacetamide with nitrites to form nitrosocyanoacetamide at a pH of around 2 and on the subsequent catalytic hydrogenation of nitrosocyanoacetamide to form aminocyanoacetamide.

Grâce à la présente méthode, un procédé pouvant être utilisé industriellement peut servir pour la première fois à la production directe d'aminocyanoacétamide. Cette méthode est basée sur la réaction du cyanoacétamide avec des nitrites pour former une nitrosocyanoacétamide à un pH d'environ 2, puis sur l'hydrogénation catalytique subséquente du nitrosocyanoacétamide pour former l'aminocyanoacétamide.
