The present invention concerns a method of providing functions in a terminal (TER) for a telecommunications network, as well as a terminal (TER) and a data supply device (CS) for that purpose, where the terminal (TER) can at least be connected to a first communications peer device (CP) at least via a first connection (VC), and where the functions can be produced in the terminal (TER) by means of data which are loaded from the data supply device (CS) to the terminal (TER). It is also proposed to establish a second connection (VL) between the terminal (TER) and the data supply device (CS), via a subscriber's line and in parallel with the first connection (VC), so that the data can be transmitted from the data supply device (CS) to the terminal (TER) via the second connection (VL).

Méthode permettant de produire des fonctions dans un terminal (TER) d'un réseau de télécommunications, terminal (TER) et dispositif de transmission de données (CS) associés, le terminal (TER) pouvant être connecté au moins à un premier dispositif homologue de communication (CP) par au moins une première connexion (VC), et les fonctions pouvant être produites dans le terminal (TER) au moyen de données chargées dans ce dernier à partir du dispositif de transmission de données (CS). Il est en outre prévu d'établir une deuxième connexion (VL) entre le terminal (TER) et le dispositif de transmission de données (CS), utilisant une ligne d'abonné et parallèle à la première connexion (VC), afin de permettre la transmission des données du dispositif (CS) au terminal (TER) par la deuxième connexion (VL).
