A method of producing honeycomb structure using a press and a die to form two metal plates that have hexagonal pegs protruding out on one side and applying welding material or some adhesive onto the hexagonal pegs and then joining the two formed metal plates by facing the protruding sides to each other. The process can produce a high-quality honeycomb structure rapidly at a low cost with many different types of metal.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour fabriquer une structure à nids d'abeille en utilisant une presse et une matrice pour former deux plaques de métal qui possèdent des broches hexagonales faisant saillie depuis l'un des côtés et en appliquant du matériau de soudage ou un adhésif aux broches hexagonales puis en joignant les deux plaques de métal en tournant l'un vers l'autre les deux côtés faisant saillie. Le procédé permet de produire une structure en nid d'abeilles haute qualité rapidement, à faible coût et en utilisant de différents types de métal.
