A method of roasting in which both the C content and S content of roasted ore can be lowered to 0.5% or below and in which an Mo yield of 90% or higher can be ensured. For recovery of the valuable metals of V, Mo and Ni by reducing of a V, Mo and Ni-containing matter with the use of a reducing agent, in advance, a V, Mo and Ni-containing matter with C and S contents is subjected to oxidation roasting by means of rotary kiln (7) to thereby remove the C and S contents. Burner (11) is disposed on raw material charging side (8a) of roasting furnace (8) on which the V, Mo and Ni-containing matter with C and S contents as a raw material is charged, and within the roasting furnace (8), the direction of raw material transfer is arranged so as to be parallel to the flow of oxygen-containing gas introduced in the roasting furnace (8).
La présente invention concerne un procédé de grillage selon lequel tant la teneur en C que la teneur en S du minerai grillé peuvent être abaissées à 0,5 % ou moins et selon lequel un rendement de Mo supérieur ou égal à 90 % peut être assuré. Pour la récupération des métaux de valeur V, Mo et Ni par la réduction d'une matière contenant V, Mo et Ni en utilisant un agent réducteur, par avance, la matière contenant V, Mo et Ni avec des teneurs en C et S est soumise à un grillage par oxydation au moyen d~un four rotatif (7) de façon à éliminer de ce fait les teneurs en C et S. Un brûleur (11) est disposé du côté de chargement de la matière première (8a) du four de grillage (8) sur lequel on charge la matière contenant V, Mo et Ni avec des teneurs en C et S comme matière première, et à l~intérieur du four de grillage (8), la direction du transfert de la matière première est disposée de façon à être parallèle à l'écoulement du gaz contenant de l~oxygène introduit dans le four de grillage (8).
