The present invention relates to the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Preferably, the present invention relates to the substantial recycling of all material forming the WEEE, thus providing substantially zero landfill. In yet another form, the invention relates to an additive and/or method of providing an additive. In still another form, the invention relates to recycling ink, toner, and/or PU foam from imaging consumables, forming part of the WEEE. In another form, the invention relates to the recycling of plastic materials containing flame retardants, including the recycling of plastics materials, such as plastics materials containing brominated flame retardants generally based on styrenics (e.g. PS, HIPS, ABS, PPO/PS, PPE/PS, ABS/PC) and polyamides (Nulon 6, nylon 6, 6, nylon 12) and other engineering plastics such as polyacetal, polycarbonate, PET, PBT, liquid crystal polymers.
L'invention concerne le recyclage de déchets d'équipements électriques et électroniques (WEEE). De préférence, l'invention concerne le recyclage sensible de tous les matériaux formant les WEEE de sorte à réduire la mise en décharge sensiblement à zéro. Dans une variante de l'invention, l'invention concerne un additif et/ou une méthode pour produire un additif. Dans encore une autre variante de l'invention, l'invention concerne une encre de recyclage, un toner et/ou une mousse PU de recyclage provenant de produits consommables d'imagerie, constituant les WEEE. L'invention concerne également le recyclage de matières plastiques contenant des matières ignifuges. En particulier, l'invention concerne le recyclage de matières plastiques, notamment des matières plastiques contenant des matières ignifuges bromées (BHT), généralement à base de substances styréniques (par exemple, PS, HIPS, ABS, PPO/PS, PPE/PS, ABS/PC) et de polyamides (nylon 6; nylon 6,6; nylon 12) et d'autres plastiques industriels, notamment du polyacétal, du polycarbonate, du PET, du PBT, et des polymères à cristaux liquides.
