ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of reducing the glare produced by forward headlamps of a motor vehicle. Mount to the front of a motor vehicle a headlamp producing a beam of red light, a headlamp producing a beam of blue light and a headlamp producing a beam of green light. Focus the headlamps such that the beams of coloured light converge at a point in front of the motor vehicle thereby producing a resultant white light.
