The present invention relates to a method of generating call pattern data for scheduling calls between a number of sites connected to a communication network. The call pattern data defines instructions for a number of site to make a number of connection across the network to other sites over a predetermined period. This is achieved by creating a list of calls to be scheduled and then assigning in turn each of the calls to a source and a destination site. The source site and destination site are selected to satisfy one or a number of call constraint criteria associated with each call. The call pattern data representing the call is then generated and stored on a computer storage medium for subsequent download to the sites.
L'invention concerne un procédé de génération de données de configuration d'appel qui permet d'organiser des appels entre un certain nombre de sites connectés à un réseau de communication. Ces données de configuration d'appel définissent des instructions pour un certain nombre de sites pour réaliser un certain nombre de connections, à travers le réseau, vers d'autres sites pendant une période de temps préétablie. On réalise cette procédure en créant une liste d'appels devant être organisés, puis en affectant à chaque appel, à tour de rôle, un site de départ et un site de destination. Le site de départ et le site de destination sont choisis pour satisfaire un ou plusieurs critères d'appel contraignants associés à chaque appel. Les données de configuration d'appel correspondant à l'appel sont ensuite générées et stockées dans une mémoire informatique en vue de leur téléchargement ultérieur vers les sites.
