The present invention provides a method of securing a hydroelectric turbine at a deployment site, for example on the seabed and in an area of significant tidal flow, which method enables the turbine to be located securely without risk of overturning or sliding out of position, but without requiring the use of piling or other complex fixing operations, by using the tidal flow to generate a downwardly acting force on one or more legs of a base on which the turbine is mounted.
La présente invention a trait à un procédé permettant de fixer une turbine hydroélectrique sur un site de déploiement, par exemple sur un fond marin et dans une zone où le flux de la marée est significatif. Ledit procédé permet à la turbine d'être placée en toute sécurité sans risque de renversement ou de glissement en dehors de sa position, sans exiger toutefois l'utilisation de l'empilage ou de toute autre opération de fixation complexe, en utilisant le flux de la marée pour produire une force agissant vers le bas sur un ou plusieurs pieds d'une base sur laquelle la turbine est montée.
