A method of securing auxiliary wheels to a motorcycle and a motorcycle with auxiliary wheels in accordance with the method. A first step involves providing a set of auxiliary wheels mounted on opposed ends of an axle. A second step involves pivotally securing an axle support in depending relation beneath a motorcycle frame with the axle secured transversely across the axle support, such that the axle support pivots in response to forces exerted upon the auxiliary wheels.
