A method of shaping a heat shrinkable material comprising the steps of providing a blank comprising a heat shrinkable material; applying a substance heatable by microwave radiation to a portion of the blank; and applying microwave radiation to the substance so that the substance is heated. Thus the portion of the blank is heated and the blank is shaped.
L'invention concerne un procédé de formage d'un matériau thermorétractable, consistant à : mettre à disposition une ébauche comprenant un matériau thermorétractable ; appliquer une substance pouvant être chauffée par des micro-ondes sur une partie de l'ébauche ; et exposer la substance à des micro-ondes de façon à chauffer cette dernière. La partie de l'ébauche est ainsi chauffée et l'ébauche est formée.
