Disclosed herein is a method for drawing a strip initially cast by means of a twin roll strip casting apparatus. The method comprises a roll gap maintenance step where roll gap is maintained, a casting initiation step where a stopper is disengaged from a tundish hole so that molten metal is poured into a space between the rolls, and the rolls are rotated at speed v0 of each of the rolls if the position of the stopper is higher than the actually poured position of the molten metal, a casting speed acceleration step where a roll repulsive force is detected when the molten metal is solidified to the leader strip and passes between the rolls, and the casting speed is accelerated if the roll repulsive force reaches a load threshold, and a normal control step where the casting speed is detected, and if the casting speed reaches a target value.
L'invention concerne un procédé servant à étirer une bande initialement coulée au moyen d'un dispositif de coulage de bande comportant deux rouleaux. Ce procédé consiste à observer un espace entre les rouleaux, à déclencher le coulage par retrait du bouchon de l'orifice d'un panier de coulée, de façon à déverser du métal en fusion dans l'espace situé entre les rouleaux et à mettre ces rouleaux en rotation respective correspondant à une vitesse¿?v<SB>O</SB> si la position du bouchon est supérieure à la position de déversement réel du métal en fusion, à accélérer la vitesse de coulage par détection d'une force de répulsion des rouleaux quand le métal en fusion est solidifié sous forme de tête de bande et passe entre les rouleaux et à accélérer la vitesse de coulage si la force de répulsion des rouleaux atteint un seuil de charge, ainsi qu'à effectuer une commande normale de détection de la vitesse de coulage si cette dernière atteint une valeur de seuil.
