A method of updating channel information by a mobile station (MS) that is in power saving mode is disclosed. More specifically, the method includes the MS which receives status information of a first channel descriptor and transmission frame information which includes when the first channel descriptor is to be transmitted. Furthermore, the MS compares status information of the first channel descriptor with status information of a second channel descriptor. Here, the second channel descriptor is stored in the MS. Lastly, if the compared status information are different, the MS receives the first channel descriptor according to the transmission frame information.
La présente invention a trait à un procédé de mise à jour d'information de canal par une station mobile se trouvant en mode d'économie d'énergie. De manière plus spécifique, le procédé comprend la réception par la station mobile d'une information de statut d'un premier descripteur de canal et une information de trame de transmission comprenant l'instant auquel le premier descripteur de canal doit être transmis. Ensuite, la station mobile compare l'information de statut sur le premier descripteur de canal avec une information de statut sur un deuxième descripteur de canal, le deuxième descripteur de canal étant stocké dans la station mobile. Enfin, si les informations de statut comparées sont différentes, la station mobile reçoit le premier descripteur de canal selon l'information de trame de transmission.
