This invention proposes a novel method to generate a low frequency (60 Hz) electricity, induced with a high frequency pulsing magnetic field (20 kHz to 500 kHz) that rotates slowly (3600 rpm) among stationary field coils. The said pulsed magnetic field is generated by an induction coil energized from an electronic switch that chops DC voltage. The coil is placed on a shaft. The arrangement allows replacing heavy laminated ferromagnetic cores with a lighter and easier to process cores made of non ferromagnetic materials like plastics, composites or even air. The said elimination prevents magnetic losses, Eddie's currents and the effect of air-gap to boost up energy conversion and the efficiency, while it does reduce the weight many times (tip to 100 times). The invention is especially suited for aero-space applications, but advantageous to other applications such as cars etc. The reduction of production costs relates mainly to very inexpensive technology of mould injection plastics that replaced expensive metal laminations requiring wounding the field coils in slots. It is also advantageous since it does eliminate possibility of scratching insulation on the wound wire, and also allows testing prefabricated coils prior to placing them into a mould and that reduces production rejections and costs of quality assurance tests.
