An apparatus for mixing concrete adapted to facilitate removal of hardened concrete therefrom includes a metal container (12) and a microwave energy generation device (30). The metal container (12) is adapted to contain concrete and to enable concrete placed therein to be mixed or agitated by mixing fins (26), the container (12) having inner walls (28) to which the concrete may adhere when the concrete hardens. The microwave energy generation device (30) generates microwave radiation energy into the metal container (12) and is capable of liberating water molecules from the concrete placed in the container (12) so as to weaken the chemical structure of the concrete to thereby facilitate breakage of the hardened concrete and removal of the concrete from the container (12).

L'invention concerne un appareil pour mélanger du béton conçu pour faciliter l'évacuation du béton durci, comprenant un récipient métallique (12) et un dispositif (30) générateur d'énergie sous la forme de micro-ondes. Le récipient métallique (12) est prévu pour contenir du béton et pour permettre à du béton d'y être mélangé ou agité par des aubes mélangeuses (26). Le récipient (12) a des parois internes (28) auxquelles le béton peut adhérer lorsqu'il durcit. Le dispositif (30) générateur d'énergie génère une énergie radiante sous forme de micro-ondes dans le récipient métallique (12) et permet de libérer des molécules d'eau du béton placé dans le récipient (12) de manière à affaiblir la structure chimique du béton et à faciliter ainsi le fractionnement du béton durci et son évacuation hors du récipient (12).
