A modular tiered rack assembly comprise at least two merchandise support racks (R1, R2, R3) suspended in a tiered configuration and brackets (700, 800) for fixing the tiers of racks to a support structure (2). Each rack has formations (H1, H2, H3) which enable it to be fixed to the brackets (700, 800) means and/or to the rack above it in the tiered configuration. The brackets (700, 800) comprise an anchor bracket (710) engageable with the support structure (2) and the uppermost rack (R1) and at least one hanger bracket (720, 730) removably suspendable from the anchor bracket (710). The anchor and hanger brackets (710, 720, 730) have landings (716, 726, 736) for supporting the base of a rack (R1, R2, R3). The racks (R1, R2, R3) are fixed to the brackets (700, 800) by suction pads (713, 723, 733) and act as tie elements, whereby the structure formed by the brackets (700, 800) and the tie elements is of a stable construction. The tie elements can be one or more of the racks (R1, R2, R3) or a separate tie bar (600).

Les éléments de liaison peuvent être une ou plusieurs des tablettes (R1, R2, R3) ou une barre de liaison (600) indépendante.
