For injection molding of tooth brushes from two different molding material components with tufts of bristles incorporated in the head portions of the brush bodies a molding machine is proposed which comprises a tuft loading station (10), a first injecting station (12) associated with the first material component and a second injecting station (14) associated with the second material component. In one or each injecting station, the stationary molding block (20, 22) has a recess, and a movable mold insert part (28) fits into this recess to complete the stationary mold block. The movable mold insert part (28) is provided with tuft insertion holes and can be transferred to the tuft feeding station (10) where tufts of bristles are loaded into the tuft insertion holes so that they have their inner ends projecting into the mold cavity portion defined by the movable mold insert part (28). Production of tooth brushes is a continuous sequence of tuft loading and injecting steps.

Afin de mouler par injection des brosses à dents à partir de deux constituants différents de matériau de moulage, les touffes de soies étant incorporées dans la portion de tête du corps de la brosse, on a conçu une machine comprenant un poste (10) de chargement des touffes, un premier poste (12) destiné à l'injection du premier constituant ainsi qu'un second poste (14) destiné à l'injection du second constituant. Au niveau d'un des postes ou des deux, le bloc (20, 22) fixe de moulage présente un évidement dans lequel vient s'ajuster un élément (28) d'insertion mobile de moule, afin de compléter le bloc de moulage fixe. Cet élément mobile (28) est pourvu de trous d'insertion de touffes et peut être transféré vers le poste (10) d'alimentation en touffes de soie au niveau duquel lesdites touffes sont chargées dans les trous d'insertion de manière à ce que leurs extrémités internes s'étendent à l'intérieur de la portion de cavité de moulage déterminée par ledit élément d'insertion (28). La production de brosses à dents se résume à une séquence continue de chargement de touffes et d'étapes d'injection.
