The present invention relates generally to the fields of proteins, diagnostics, therapeutics and nutrition. More particularly, the present invention provides an isolated protein molecule that comprises a dimeric 4- helix bundle, such as IFN-a2B, IFN-b1, IFN-g, IL-10 or its receptor, such as IFNAR2, IL-10Ra or chimeric molecules thereof comprising at least a portion of the protein molecule, such as IFN-a2B-Fc, IFN-bl -Fc, IFN-g-Fc, IFNAR2-Fc, IL- IO-Fc, IL-10Ra-Fc; wherein the protein or chimeric molecule thereof has a profile of measurable physiochemical parameters, wherein the profile is indicative of, associated with or forms the basis of one or more pharmacological traits. The present invention further contemplates the use of the isolated protein or chimeric molecule thereof in a range of diagnostic, prophylactic, therapeutic, nutritional and/or research applications.
La présente invention concerne de façon générale les domaines des protéines, des diagnostics, des thérapeutiques et de la nutrition. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne une molécule de type protéine isolée laquelle comprend un dimère de complexe à 4 hélices (4-helix bundle), tel qu'un IFN-a2B, IFN-b1, IFN-g, IL-10 ou son récepteur, tel qu'un IFNAR2, IL-10Ra, ou des molécules chimères de celle-ci comprenant au moins une partie de la molécule de type protéine, telle qu'un IFN-a2B-Fc, IFN-bl -Fc, IFN-g-Fc, IFNAR2-Fc, IL-IO-Fc, IL-10Ra-Fc, la protéine ou la molécule chimère de celle-ci ayant un profil de paramètres physiochimiques mesurables, le profil étant indicateur de la base d'un ou plusieurs traits pharmacologiques ou étant associé à celle-ci ou formant celle-ci. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation de la protéine isolée ou de la molécule chimère de celle-ci dans toutes sortes d'applications de diagnostic, prophylactiques, thérapeutiques, nutritionnelles et/ou de recherche.
