A monorail bogie for supporting a monorail car travelling over a monorail track. The monorail bogie comprises a load-bearing wheel having an axis of rotation that is parallel to the running surface. The monorail bogie further comprises an inboard pair of guide wheels and an outboard pair of guide wheels. Each guide wheel of the inboard pair of guide wheels has an axis of rotation and each guide wheel of the outboard pair of guide wheels has an axis of rotation. The axes of rotation of the inboard pair of guide wheels and the axes of rotation of the outboard pair of guide wheels are offset in opposite directions in relation to the axis of rotation of the load bearing wheels. The monorail bogie further comprises at least one stabilizing wheel positioned co-axially with each one of the inboard pair of guide wheels.

L'invention concerne un bogie monorail destiné à supporter une voiture monorail se déplaçant sur une voie monorail. Le bogie monorail comporte une roue porteuse ayant un axe de rotation qui est parallèle à la surface de roulement. Le bogie monorail comporte par ailleurs une paire de roues de guidage intérieures et une paire de roues de guidage extérieures. Chaque roue de guidage des paires de roues de guidage intérieures et extérieures possède un axe de rotation. Les axes de rotation des paires de roues de guidage intérieures et extérieures sont décalés dans des directions opposées par rapport à l'axe de rotation des roues porteuses. Le bogie monorail comporte par ailleurs au moins une roue de stabilisation positionnée de manière coaxiale par rapport à chacune des roues de la paire de roues de guidage intérieures.
