A mounting system (10) for filtration media including an elongated channel member (18) which supports at least one end of the filtration media (14). The channel member includes first (20), second (22), third (24), and fourth (26) wall members. One end of the first wall member (20) is preferably bent inwardly and has a plurality of engagement points (34) formed therein which are created by forming cut-outs (32) in the first wall member (20). Preferably, the fourth wall (26) member extends at an acute angle from the third member (24) with the first (20) and fourth (26) wall members defining an opening (30) therebetween into which the filtration media (14) is inserted for support.
