A method to form a mouthguard, said method including the steps of providing a mould (14) to which a mouthguard shell (16) is applied. A sheet member (21) of resilient material is applied to the shell (16) and plastically deformed by applying a pressure differential across the sheet to thereby urge the shell (16) into contact with the mould (29) to plastically deform the shell (16) to form a mouthguard.

L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'un protège-dents comprenant les étapes consistant à fournir un moule (14) auquel un modèle (16) de protège-dents est appliqué. Une feuille (21) en matière souple est appliquée au modèle (16) et déformée plastiquement par application d'un différentiel de pression sur la feuille, afin de pousser le modèle (16) à venir au contact du moule (29) de manière à déformer plastiquement le modèle (16) et former un protège-dents.
