A multi-band antenna is provided with a common feed. The antenna includes a vertically oriented elongated support structure. A first frequency selective radiating element is carried by the structure and is optimized for radiating a first RF signal having a first frequency from a first frequency band. A second frequency selective radiating element is carried by the structure and is optimized for radiating a second RF signal having a second frequency from a second frequency band. The frequencies within the first frequency band differ from the frequencies in the second frequency band. A common signal feed is carried by the structure for simultaneously carrying both the first and second RF signals for application to the radiating elements.
Une antenne multibande est dotée d'une alimentation commune. Cette antenne comporte une structure de soutien allongée qui est orientée verticalement. Un premier élément rayonnant à sélection de fréquence est supporté par cette structure et est optimisé de façon à rayonner un premier signal RF ayant une première fréquence dans une première bande de fréquences. Un second élément rayonnant à sélection de fréquence est supporté par la structure et est optimisé de façon à rayonner un second signal RF ayant une seconde fréquence dans une seconde bande de fréquences. Les fréquences de la première bande diffèrent de celles de la seconde bande. Un alimentation en signaux commune est montée sur la structure pour transmettre simultanément aux éléments rayonnants le premier et le second signal RF.
