System for sensing perturbations in a distributed manner using an array of multimode fibres for localization (zone identification) of the perturbation, particularly, the present invention relates to a two dimensional array based speckle pattern sensing system having 4X3 (12) multimode fibres for sensing perturbation in multiple zones, said multimode fibres are imaged in parallel by a charge coupled device (CCD) camera and their speckle pattern analyzed by a conventional image processing hardware to determine the perturbations.

L'invention concerne un système qui permet de détecter des perturbations de façon répartie en utilisant un réseau de fibres multimodes pour localiser (identification de zones) les perturbations. Elle concerne en particulier un réseau bidimensionnel de détection, qui met en oeuvre un système de détection de formes de tacheture avec des fibres multimodes 4X3 (12) pour détecter une perturbation dans plusieurs zones. Ces fibres multimodes sont prises en images en parallèle par une caméra matricielle CCD et leur forme de tacheture est analysée par un matériel de traitement d'image classique afin de déterminer les perturbations.
