A multi-functional pocket knife (1) comprising a retractable tool holder (2) capable of receiving a removable, reversible tool (23), of which each end is adapted as working end (24, 25). The form of the tool (23) preferably comprises an elbow, allowing the user to exert a greater force. The removable tool holder (2) also serves as an extension of the tool (23) and can be used separate from the knife. The knife (1) and its pivoting means (22) are used as a supporting holder for the tool holder (2) and the removable tool (23). The pocket knife may be augmented by the addition of a case containing a plurality of tools (23) of different types and/or sizes.
