A multifunctional restrictive valve for controlling the flow of water therethrough. The valve has a main body (802,820) with a flow channel through the main body. The main body receives water upstream thereof"' through an inlet port and passes it out through an outlet port at the downstream end of the body. A flow control assembly is located in the flow channel and includes a temperature sensor/actuator (822) acting on a piston (814) to move, when the temperature sensor heats up the piston, to block water flow control ports. The flow -control assembly also includes an override feature wherein the piston is located within a slide (808) and the flow control ports are located in the slide. By moving the slide away from the piston when the piston is blocking the flow control ports, the temperature sensor and piston may be overridden and flow may resume through the main body.
L'invention concerne une soupape restrictive multifonctionnelle destinée à réguler l'écoulement d'eau qui la traverse. La soupape présente un corps principal traversé par un canal d'écoulement. Le corps principal reçoit l'eau en amont par l'intermédiaire d'un port d'entrée et la conduit par l'intermédiaire d'un port de sortie à l'extrémité aval du corps. Un ensemble de régulation d'écoulement est situé dans le canal d'écoulement et comprend un ensemble capteur/actionneur sensible à la température agissant sur un piston pour déplacer le piston, lorsque le capteur de température chauffe, de manière à bloquer les ports de régulation d'écoulement d'eau. L'ensemble de régulation d'écoulement comprend également un élément de neutralisation, le piston étant situé à l'intérieur d'un tiroir et les ports de régulation d'écoulement étant situés dans le tiroir. Par déplacement du tiroir à distance du piston lorsque le piston bloque les ports de régulation d'écoulement, la sonde de température et le piston peuvent être neutralisés et l'écoulement peut reprendre dans le corps principal.
