The present invention relates to a noise canceller for removing a noise component from an input speech signal, the noise canceller comprising an A/D converter, a noise cancellation coefficient adjuster, a Fourier transformer, a noise spectrum storage device, a noise estimator and a noise cancelling/spectrum compensator for use with a speech coder. The noise canceller makes it possible to enhance the characteristics of the input spectrum envelope with linear predictive coefficients and to prevent degradation of the sound quality even when the noise level is high.
La présente invention concerne un suppresseur de bruit afin de supprimer la composante de bruit d'un signal vocal d'entrée, le suppresseur de bruit comprenant un convertisseur de courant c.a/c.c., un ajusteur du coefficient de suppression du bruit, un transformateur de Fourier, un dispositif de mémorisation du spectre du bruit, un estimateur de bruit et un compensateur de suppression de bruit/spectral à utiliser avec un codeur vocal. Le suppresseur de bruit donne la possibilité d'améliorer les caractéristiques de l'enveloppe du spectre des signaux d'entrée au moyen de coefficients de prédiction linéaires et d'empêcher toute dégradation de la qualité sonore, même lorsque le niveau de bruit est élevé.
