A novel dosage form of L-Methionine S-Sulfoximine for the treatment of diseases and conditions susceptible to the inhibition of glutamine synthetase is disclosed. The novel dosage form should not exceed 10 mg/kg by body weight over a one week period, and preferably should not exceed 8 mg/kg, and more preferably should not exceed 5 mg/kg, and most preferably should not exceed 2.5 mg/kg.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle forme posologique de L-méthionine S-sulfoximine destinée à traiter des maladies et des affections répondant à une inhibition de glutamine synthétase. Cette nouvelle forme posologique ne devrait pas dépasser 10 mg/kg de poids corporel sur une période d'une semaine ; de préférence, elle ne devrait pas dépasser 8 mg/kg, mieux encore 5 mg/kg, et idéalement 2,5 mg/kg.
