The present invention relates to a novel lysyl oxidase genes, termed EER-7. The invention relates to the protein and nucleic acids encoding the protein. The invention further relates to an assay system to identify compounds that selectively modulate EER-7 protein activity by interaction with estrogen receptors.

La présente invention a trait à un nouveau gène de la lysyl oxydase, appelé EER-7. Cette invention concerne la protéine et les acides nucléiques codant cette protéine. L'invention concerne également un système d'essai permettant d'identifier des composés qui modulent de manière sélective l'activité de la protéine EER-7 par interaction avec des récepteurs des oestrogènes.
