The invention is a new type of reflector, which receives energy from a source and reflects said energy onto the surface of an object. The reflector is comprised of a multiplicity of small reflecting segments attached to a substrate. The orientation of each of the reflecting segments with respect to the substrate, the source, and the object is determined on an individual basis such that the energy from the source that is reflected from the segment is directed towards a predetermined area on the surface of the object. The invention allows reflectors to be built using substrates having an arbitrarily shape. Also disclosed are methods of manually and automatically producing both single and industrial quantities of the reflector of the invention.
L'invention a pour objet un nouveau type de réflecteur qui reçoit de l'énergie provenant d'une source et réfléchit ladite énergie sur la surface d'un objet. Le réflecteur est composé d'une pluralité de petits segments réfléchissants fixés à un substrat. L'orientation de chacun des segments réfléchissants par rapport au substrat, à la source et à l'objet est déterminée sur une base individuelle de telle sorte que l'énergie provenant de la source qui est réfléchie à partir du segment est dirigée vers une zone prédéterminée sur la surface de l'objet. L'invention concerne des réflecteurs construits à l'aide de substrats ayant une forme arbitraire. L'invention porte également sur des procédés de production manuelle et automatique de quantités à la fois uniques et industrielles du réflecteur de l'invention.
