This application is related preferably, to chocolates with a lower melting point than normal, preferably containing higher than normal levels of milk fat, that cannot be packaged using conventional chocolate packaging technology. The products are intended to be sold in sealed, individual containers and may be consumed either in a solid or liquid state. The chocolate composition may or may not conform to the legal definition of chocolate products and may contain fats other than milk fat. The packaging format described may also be utilized to contain regular composition chocolate for sale and use in hot climates. The product is sealed inside the preferably rigid or semi- rigid packaging container, which retains it's shape even when the chocolate product has melted and deformed.
