A catheter has a lumen having a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end and the proximal end each have an aperture open into the lumen providing a path for perfusion of blood through the lumen. A ballon material is mounted about the lumen between the apertures. The balloon material is selectively inflatable for obstructing a flow of blood to the anastomotic site.
