A plug converter for changing the electrical pin configuration of an appliance plug has an enclosure with a base and a cover. On the base are connector pins having a first electrical pin configuration for connecting the enclosure to an electrical outlet. Within the enclosure are electrical connectors for connection with an appliance plug having a second electrical pin configuration. The electrical connectors are electrically connected to the connector pins. A support structure is provided adjacent an opening in the enclosure for supporting an appliance plug connected with the electrical connectors.
L'invention concerne un convertisseur de fiche permettant de changer la configuration de broches électriques d'une fiche d'appareil, lequel comprend une enceinte comportant une base et un couvercle. Les broches de connecteurs se trouvent sur la base, lesquelles présentent une première configuration de broches électriques permettant de relier l'enceinte à une prise de courant. À l'intérieur de l'enceinte se trouvent des connecteurs électriques permettant la connexion à une fiche d'appareil présentant une seconde configuration de broches électriques. Les connecteurs électriques sont reliés électriquement aux broches de connecteurs. Une structure de support est utilisée, contiguë à une ouverture dans l'enceinte, afin de supporter une fiche d'appareil reliée aux connecteurs électriques.
