The pneumatic float according to the invention comprises an airtight outer skin (5), which can be inflated with compressed air via a valve (21). Webs (6) extend essentially over the entire length of the float, which are joined to the outer skin (5) along the lines (1) and on the one hand divide the inside of the float into intercommunicating chambers (7), and on the other hand give the float the desired contours (14), stability and stability against bending. The webs can comprise single or multiple layers of low-stretch woven material or plastics material foils. To improve directional stability in operation and as a protection against damage to the outer skin (5) the float has a keel rail (8), for instance comprising plastics material, and glued on. To avoid the Coanda effect two side rails (9) are attached in a similar manner.

L'invention concerne des flotteurs pneumatiques selon l'invention comprenant une enveloppe externe étanche à l'air (5) pouvant être alimentée en air comprimé par une valve (21). Des segments (6) qui s'étendent sur sensiblement sur toute la longueur du flotteur, sont reliés à l'enveloppe externe (5) le long des lignes (1). D'une part, des segments subdivisent l'intérieur du flotteur en chambres (7) qui communiquent entre elles et, d'autre part, ils confèrent au flotteur les contours souhaités (14), stabilité et résistance à la flexion. Ces segments peuvent être constitués d'au moins une couche en tissé peu extensible ou en feuilles de plastique. Pour améliorer la stabilité en lacet en cours de service et pour protéger des blessures de l'enveloppe externe (5), le flotteur présente une cornière de bordure (8) en plastique, par exemple, et collée.
