Described is an NCO-group-containing polyurethane prepolymer madefrom polyisocanyates and polyols derived from natural oils. The invention is characterized in that the polyol is obtained by transesterification in the presence of basic lithium compounds. Together with a tertiary amine used to accelerate the moisture curing, the storage stability is thus increased considerably. Up to 4.0 mmol of the lithium compound is used per kilogram of polyol, and 0.1 to 2.0 % by wt. of the amine, relative to the total weight of the composition, is used as the accelerator. The polyurethane prepolymer is suitable not only for the production of adhesives but also for the production of foamed materials, in particular those dispensed from throw-away pressure vessels.

L'invention concerne un prépolymère de polyuréthane comportant des groupes NCO et constitué de polyols oléochimiques et de polyisocyanates. Ce prépolymère se caractérise en ce que le polyol est obtenu par transestérification en présence de composés lithium basiques. Lorsqu'il est en combinaison avec une amine tertiaire pour accélérer le durcissement à l'humidité, la stabilité au stockage est considérablement augmentée. Le volume de composé lithium introduit est de 4,0 mmol/kg de polyol et celui de l'accélérateur d'amine est compris entre 0,1 et 2,0 % en poids, par rapport à l'ensemble de la composition. Le prépolymère polyuréthane ne s'utilise pas uniquement pour produire des adhésifs, mais également pour fabriquer des produits alvéolaires, distribués notamment par des récipients sous pression jetables.
