A portable containment for receiving spilled fluid having collapsible end and side walls which in combination with a floor form a containment area when held in an upright position by braces position along the walls. In use certain of the walls and braces are collapsed into folded or down positions to allow vehicle entry into the containment area. Skids are positioned beneath the braces associated with certain walls. Flotation members are secured along the upper edges of at least the certain walls. The flotation members are capable of elevating the certain walls in the event spillage occurs prior to the certain walls being repositioned into the upright position. Elevation of the certain walls causes the associated braces to slide over the skids to assure their upstanding position which maintaining the walls in their upright position.
Il s'agit d'un dispositif de confinement portatif destiné à recevoir des déversements de liquides. Ce dispositif est pourvu d'une extrémité télescopique et de parois latérales. Ces éléments, combinés à un plancher, forment une zone de confinement, lorsque le dispositif est tenu verticalement par des jambes de force et se positionne le long des parois. En exploitation, certaines des parois et des jambes de force sont repliées pour permettre à un véhicule d'entrer dans la zone contaminée. Des patins sont placés en dessous des jambes de force associées à certaines parois. Des éléments flottants peuvent surélever certains desdits murs en cas de déversement, avant que lesdites parois soient repositionnées verticalement. L'élévation de certaines parois fait que les jambes de force associées glissent sur les patins pour assurer leur verticalité qui maintient les parois en position verticale.
