A modulator system for generating a plurality of individual modulated RF signals (Subband 1-Subband 7) and combining (13) them and transmitting them in different frequency channels. The invention provides a practical method and apparatus for generating and combining a multiplicity of CDMA signals in several radio channels using digital circuit. Further, several such band segments can be generated in parallel and combined to cover a large bandwidth. The invention generates this multiplicity of signals and combines them at baseband using all digital techniques. The advantage of this approach is great simplification in hardware and improvement in reliability, as well as flexibility.
Système modulateur servant à générer une pluralité de signaux de radiofréquence modulés individuellement (sous-bande 1-sous-bande 7) et à les combiner (13), puis à les transmettre dans des canaux de fréquences différentes. L'invention consiste en un procédé et en un dispositif de génération et de combinaison d'une multiplicité de signaux AMDC dans différents canaux radio au moyen d'un circuit numérique. De plus, plusieurs segments de bandes de ce type peuvent être générés en parallèle et combinés afin de couvrir une largeur de bande importante. L'invention permet de générer cette multiplicité de signaux et de les combiner au niveau de la bande de base au moyen de toutes les techniques numériques. Ceci présente l'avantage de simplifier considérablement le matériel et d'améliorer la fiabilité, ainsi que la souplesse du système.
