In a procedure to prove the times at which a transaction is carried out, or a document is generated, signed, transmitted and/or received, provision is made such that a time mark is recorded in the document in a manner that makes it proof against falsification; and in that the time mark corresponds to a time that is taken from a clock that cannot be reset.
