A method for operating at least one first computer entity with an operating system of a second computer entity, and wherein the method comprises the steps of : a) detecting and registering said set of initialisation data and driver files stored in the first computer entity (S 1), b) copying said driver files into the files of the second operating system (S2), c) adapting each of said files, and reading and adapting said initialisation data, for the second operating system (S3), d) injecting said initialisation data into initialisation structures of the second operating system (S4), e) making said media containing said second operating system available to said first computer (S5), f) initialising the first computer entity with the second operating system (S6), said initialisation structures being used by the second operating system to initialise and operate the device controller of said bootable device.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour faire fonctionner au moins une première entité d'ordinateur avec un système d'exploitation d'une seconde entité d'ordinateur, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à: a) détecter et enregistrer l'ensemble de données d'initialisation et de fichiers de gestionnaires stocké dans la première entité d'ordinateur (S1), b) copier lesdits fichiers de gestionnaires dans les fichiers du second système d'exploitation (S2), c) adapter chacun desdits fichiers, et lire et adapter lesdites données d'initialisation au second système d'exploitation (S3), d) injecter lesdites données d'initialisation dans des structures d'initialisation du second système d'exploitation (S4), e) mettre les supports contenant ledit second système d'exploitation à disposition dudit premier ordinateur (S5), f) initialiser la première entité d'ordinateur avec le second système d'exploitation (S6), lesdites structures d'initialisation étant utilisées par le second système d'exploitation pour initialiser et faire fonctionner le contrôleur de dispositif dudit dispositif exécutable.
