In a process that is used to regulate the quantity of a processing medium that is used to reduce the nitrogen monoxide content in the exhaust gases generated by combustion processes, in which the quantity that is used is regulated as a function of the nitrogen monoxide content, a processing medium blow-by nominal value (8) that is changed as a function of the nitrogen monoxide content value (3) measured in the exhaust gas (2) is used in addition to a pre-set nitrogen monoxide nominal value (7).

Dans un procédé utilisé pour réguler la quantité d'un milieu de traitement servant à réduire la teneur en monoxyde d'azote dans les gaz d'échappement générés par des procédés de combustion, dans lesquels la quantité utilisée est régulée en fonction de la teneur en monoxyde d'azote, le milieu de traitement est insufflé en fonction de la valeur nominale (8) modifiée d'après la teneur en monoxyde d'azote (3) mesurée dans les gaz d'échappement (2), en plus de la valeur nominale de monoxyde d'azote pré-établie.
