- 20 - A b s t r a c t Process for the decontamination of decontaminants in waste waters, wherein the waste water stream to be treated pass se- quentially through following process steps, - waste water treatment with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), irradiating at the same time with W light, - treatment with a reducing agent such as sodium dit- hionite, - precipitation of existing metal contaminants, optionally followed by a filtration and/or a treat- ment with a selective ion exchanger.
