A process for enhancing the operability of hot gas cleanup for the production of synthesis gas in which a stream of methane rich gas is autothermally reformed at a temperature and pressure sufficient to generate a stream of synthesis gas rich in hydrogen and carbon monoxide, the synthesis gas is subjected to condensation and removing the resultant water, and sulfur impurities are removed from the resultant synthesis gas stream.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'amélioration de la fonctionnalité de purification d'un gaz chaud pour la production de gaz de synthèse dans lequel un courant de gaz riche en méthane subit un reformage autothermique à une température et une pression suffisantes pour générer un courant de gaz de synthèse riche en hydrogène et en monoxyde de carbone, le gaz de synthèse est soumis à une condensation et un retrait de l'eau résultante, et les impuretés soufrées sont retirées du courant de gaz de synthèse résultant.
