This invention comprises a methodology for making globe candles that have qualities and features unlike common candles found today. This globe candle can be made to have bright colorful decorative patterns and designs on its outer surface, or pure white for utility purposes. One of the exciting aspects of this globe candle is that it has multiple uses other than providing light. It can be used as a wax flotation device that would act similar to an inflated beach ball and could prevent someone from drowning, or could act as a distress signal at night. Situations occur when people find themselves stranded in a broken down or stalled car in sub zero temperatures. This globe candle can be used to prevent hands from freezing by placing the hands over the opening at the top of globe and absorbing the trapped heat. The heat from this candle will also increase the temperature within a closed automobile by several degrees. It has been demonstrated that a strong draft or wind has little affect to the burning function or reflecting light of the globe candle. One of the most important aspects of this globe candle is that it has a sealed-in safety features at the base of the globe to prevent a fire.
