The present invention relates to a process for the production of a cellular composite, and to the resultant cellular composites. This process comprising (A) preparing a mixture of a polyisocyanate, water, and, optionally, one or more additives; (B) adding this mixture under low shear mixing to inorganic hollow microspheres; (C) completely filling a mold with the mixture; and (D) heating the mold containing the mixture to a temperature of from 100 to 280°C, thereby forming the composite.
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de production d'un composite alvéolaire, ainsi que les composites alvéolaires ainsi obtenues. Ledit procédé comprend A) la préparation d'un mélange d'un polyisocyanate, d'eau et, optionnellement, d'un ou plusieurs additifs, B) l'addition dudit mélange à des microsphères inorganiques creuses en agitant sous une faible contrainte de cisaillement, C) le remplissage complet d'un moule avec ledit mélange et D) le chauffage du moule contenant le mélange jusqu'à une température comprise entre 100 et 280 oC pour former le composite.
