A method of producing fuel from tall-oil soap with the aid of carbon dioxide. The tall-oil soap is reacted with carbon dioxide and a rest solution is then separated out from the reaction product. The remaining reaction product can then be used as fuel. It is preferred that the tall-oil soap is mixed with an organic solvent, suitably a fuel oil or combustible oil, prior to reacting the soap with carbon dioxide.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de combustible à base de savon de tallol avec du dioxyde de carbone. On fait réagir le savon de tallol avec du dioxyde de carbone et on sépare une solution résiduelle du produit de réaction. Le produit de réaction restant peut être utilisé comme carburant. De préférence, on mélange le savon de tallol à un solvant organique, notamment du mazout ou une huile combustible, avant de le faire réagir avec le dioxyde de carbone.
